Interpol

Interpol. A name generally associated with international espionage, covert operations, and distant ports of call. Yet since Interpol, the band, swept up listeners with their 2002 Matador debut 'Turn On The Bright Lights,' the moniker has gained new associations as well. It still carries global recognition. For some years now, one could hardly open a magazine, turn on a radio or television, or step into a nightclub, without hearing Interpol's dark, gripping songs or seeing their countenances. Despite this high level of media exposure, the quartet never lost the tension and complexity that won them acclaim worldwide.

STRFKR

STRFKR is a four-piece dance-pop band based in Portland, Oregon.It was founded in 2007 as a solo project for which Josh Hodges sang and played keyboards, guitar and drums. The band is named after the notoriously raunchy Rolling Stones song, which their record producer renamed "Star Star." One of Strfkr's songs was used in a 2009 television ad for Target.

Death Cab for Cutie

Formed in Bellingham, Washington back in 1997, Death Cab for Cutie began as a solo project for singer/songwriter Ben Gibbard. The underground success of his self-produced cassette 'You Can Play These Songs' Chords' inspired Gibbard to recruit a full-time band. In the summer of 1998, Death Cab for Cutie issued their debut LP, 'Something About Airplanes,' to much acclaim from indie circles. They've gone on to issue seven albums, including 'Codes and Keys,' the band's first new album in three years.

Daughtry

Daughtry is a rock band from North Carolina, formed and fronted by Chris Daughtry, who first gained prominence as a fan favorite on the fifth season of 'American Idol.' After the competition, Daughtry was given a record deal and his 2006 self-titled debut sold over a million copies after just five weeks in release. He is the third most successful 'American Idol' contestant (behind only megastars Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood) and is currently touring to support his band's most recent album, 'Break the Spell.'

H.E.R.

The mysterious H.E.R. won't confirm her identity, but the 19-year-old singer is believed to be Gabi Wilson, a California singer and a protege of Alicia Keys, who caught Keys' ear when she played "Fallin” on the "Maury" show for a “The Most Talented Kids” episode when she was 10. She released her debut H.E.R. collection, "Vol. 1," in the late summer of 2016, and followed that with the summer 2017 release "Vol. 2."
