Film Festival: Casanova on Screen

The escapades and exploits of the adventurer Giacomo Casanova have inspired a rich catalogue of beautiful, strange, humorous, and often provocative adaptations for the screen. A weekend of four films includes inspired retellings of Casanovaís life by Alexandre Volkoff (1927) and Federico Fellini (1976), as well as the acclaimed adaptation of Choderlos de Laclosís 1782 novel Dangerous Liaisons and a celebrated film of Mozartís 1787 opera Don Giovanni.
