Mid-Cities Greek FoodFest


Bring your appetites and your dancing shoes - Itís time for the annual Mid-Cities Greek FoodFest, Oct. 14, 15 and 16 at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 303 Cullum Dr. in Euless. Hours: Friday & Saturday, 11am-10pm; Sunday, 11am-4pm Sample the Santorini lamb chop, a gyro sandwich, some saganaki (flaming cheese), and spinach pie. Thirsty? Try our famous Ouzo slushy or a glass of Retsina or Mavrodaphne wine. Complete the meal with some authentic Greek coffee and a baklava sundae. Attend our cooking demos showcasing many of the recipes used at the festival. Bringing the kids? Check out our Childrenís Center with games, face painting and crafts as well as a photo booth. Take a chance to win a 55-inch Curve TV, a basket of area restaurant gift cards or four tickets to the 2017 Texas Rangers Opening Day. And finally, donít miss the pride of our festival - our Greek dance troupe which will perform throughout each day. They will be happy to teach you to dance too!
